This private estate is surrounded by more than an acre of landscaped gardens full of flowers and mature trees,

lush manicured lawns and flowing streams and water features.

 

As you enter the property, you must cross over the Rio Tesuque, a stream that flows year round and for a few weeks beginning in the spring, the Acequia Madre, a 1000 year old irrigation ditch, runs along the top of the property. The Acequia is set along the original Tesuque trail, a road in which Kit Carson used to travel, and is now framed with arches of wisteria and rose bushes.

While the Acequia is running, you'll be able to enjoy a soak in the hot tub, which sits next to it, listening to the water gently flowing.
